‘May the force be with you’ is the phrase we’re all very common with, used to wish an individual or group good luck or good will. The phrase originated in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and has continued to be a classic part of Star Wars ever since.

It is believed that ‘may the force be with you’ originated from the Latin phrase ‘dominus vobiscum’, which translates to ‘The Lord be with you’.
