G.H.Bass was established by George Henry Bass of Wilton, Maine in 1876. His goal was to make the best possible shoe he could for whatever occasion called for that shoe to be worn. He gradually gained reputation for making comfortable and durable shoes using the original shoe making techniques that has kept him and his company in good stead for over a century. With over 100 years of shoe-making behind it, the G.H.Bass name is synonymous with luxury and quality and their stand out shoes for us have always been the Weejun Penny and Weejun Tassel loafers. We like them so much that we decided to get our hands on a few styles. They last a lifetime and go nicely with a pair of Levi's and a Carhartt shirt.
