Grenson shoes are the best shoemakers in Britain today (and always have been.) and was founded by one man, William Green in the late 19th Century. Mr. Green learned the trade of making good honest English leather boots from his dear old mum, a very talented shoemaker based in the home of British leather, Northamptonshire. William Green took all the skills he learned from his old ma' and opened the first Grenson factory in 1895. The Grenson factory was one of the first of its kind in this country and the company became one of the most important shoemakers in Britain. The factory is still untouched to this day and they have the same work ethos and dedication to the craft that they've always had. Despite their heritage and longevity, Grenson is a new brand to us at Natterjacks and we're very proud to stock their Archie and Stanley Tan Brogues and are looking to extend the range in the future.
